C Section is currently runnable with streamflow levels at 6020cfs, about 100% above the average runnable rate of 3000cfs. Our recommended river levels for paddling this section of the Green River are between a bare minimum of 800cfs and a high of 8000cfs. Streamflow levels and subsequent run conditions for C Section are sourced from the USGS streamflow gage located at Green River Near Green River, Wy.

Run Overview

This class II- to II journey is accessible from 4 different boat launch points along the Green River. Paddlers should prepare for the 2 class II- to II whitewater rapids along this run. C Section is also ideal for multi day paddlers looking to do some camping too. Campers will find 14 riverside campsites as the run winds its way through 11 miles of the beautiful Green River.

C Section is a nice mellow desert float with some killer fishing at the right water level.  Some great river camps exist on this section too.  You should probably combine this section with another stretch of the Green to make it worth your while. Weather on the river today will be sunny, with a high near 78. windy, with a west wind 8 to 18 mph increasing to 18 to 28 mph in the afternoon. winds could gust as high as 39 mph.
